Dr. Jenny Elwell-Gerken
Dr. Jenny is the owner of Sapphire Animal Hospital. She grew up in northern Utah and decided she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was 8 years old. She graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine (go Cougs!) in 2009 and began working with cattle in a tiny town in North Dakota. From there she worked as an emergency veterinarian in Missoula, MT and briefly as a small animal veterinarian in Utah before buying Sapphire Animal Hospital in January 2015. Dr. Jenny uses veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese herbs, essential oils, diet and supplements, and some energy work alongside Western medicine to provide the best possible outcome for her patients. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her husband and two children, usually exploring and camping.
She spends her time between her clinic in Stevensville and her mobile practice in Park City, Utah.
